About anna
Anna has been practicing Pilates daily for ten years now, making the decision 5 years ago to train as an Instructor because Pilates had had such a positive impact on her life, both physically and mentally, eliminating chronic pain and helping to manage depression and anxiety. Passionate about sharing the magic of Pilates she decided to leave her corporate job and retrain as a Pilates Instructor.
Anna started Forest Pilates in 2019, she is based in Sawbridgeworth, teaching group mat and private classes to both adults and teenager in a number of local areas.
Anna is committed to advancing her training, recently specialising in Pilates for Kids and Teens and has completed her international qualification with Polestar Pilates. She ensures she is continually working to improve her skills with weekly mentor sessions and group classes.

Anna is First Aid trained and is DBS checked.

Fabulous class this morning. I have been coming to this class for that last few months now and it has made a big difference for me, not only physically but mentally too. Anna is a wonderful teacher and is very professional and welcoming with the mixed ages in the class. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love my Pilates classes with Anna, she is warm, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. She creates a relaxing atmosphere in her classes, which makes it easy to relax and not be afraid to speak up and ask a question about whether you’re doing something wrong or not. She also adjusts the exercises based on levels of experience in each class. I started Pilates with Anna just before Covid and having had almost a year back now, I can feel such a difference in my strength and posture, especially a bad back that I have had since my first son was born 28 years ago. I cannot recommend Anna highly enough, she’s wonderful!

Having returned to Pilates after a long break, Anna immediately made me feel welcome with her engaging and calm teaching style and clear explanations of the movements. The classes are very inclusive as Anna utilises exercises which are easily modified according to fitness level. My brain enjoys at the relaxation of this class and my body thanks me for it…a great class, I thoroughly recommend it!
